Space Waves: the whole game is a zig-zag
Space Waves gives you one shape and one input. The shape is a white arrow that never stops moving to the right. The input is a hold: press the mouse button, W, Space or the Up arrow and the arrow climbs at a steady diagonal; let go and it dives at the same angle. There is no flap, no jump arc and no gravity to fight, just two straight lines and the moment you switch between them. Every run draws a jagged trail across the screen, and that trail is a record of your timing.
If you have played the wave sections of Geometry Dash, the feel will be familiar, but Space Waves builds a whole game around it. The corridors close in, spikes line the floor and ceiling, saw blades spin in the gaps and the colours change from world to world. Holding into the ceiling makes the arrow slide along it, and letting go sends it sliding along the floor, so the safest place in a tight spot is often flat against a wall rather than in the middle.
There are three ways to play from the mode screen. Classic is a list of worlds — World 1 is the gentle one, World 2 is marked as easy levels and World 3 warns that the floor is lava — and each level has a percentage bar and a finish line. Endless is one long course where the counter shows metres and the best distance becomes your high score. Race starts a five-minute clock and lines you up against a field of other arrows, on Easy or Hard. Gems collected along the way buy new arrows, trails and colours in the shop.
Controls & mechanics
| Action | Control | Purpose |

| Fly up | Hold left mouse button, W, Space or Up arrow | The arrow climbs at a fixed diagonal while you hold |
| Fall | Release | Let go and it dives at the same angle |
| Slide | Keep holding against the ceiling (or let go on the floor) | The arrow slides flat along the surface instead of crashing |
| Pause | P or the pause button | Stops the level; the top bar shows how far through it you are |
| Touch | Hold and release anywhere on the screen | Works the same way on a phone or tablet in landscape |
| Menus | Click | Mode screen, level select, shop, skins and settings (sound, language) |
Getting further in Space Waves
- Short taps for tight gaps: In a narrow corridor, quick press-release pairs keep the arrow in a small zig-zag near the middle instead of long swings into the walls.
- Use the walls: Sliding along the ceiling or floor is safe as long as no spike is on it. When a gap is about to open on the other side, you can wait flat on the wall and leave at the last moment.
- Look at the exit, not the arrow: The arrow only moves one way. What matters is where the next opening is, so keep your eyes a screen ahead.
- Count the beat of a saw: Saw blades and moving parts repeat. Watch one cycle, then go through on the gap you saw.
- Learn a level in pieces: The percentage bar tells you where you died. Treat each run as practice for the section after your last best.
- Pick one key and stay with it: Mouse, Space, W and Up all work, but switching between them mid-run changes your timing.

Pro tip: When a corridor narrows, stop making big swings. Tap in short, even beats and the arrow stays in the middle where the spikes cannot reach it.
